What is Lauramine Oxide?

Lauramine oxide, also known as dodecyl dimethylamine oxide, is a surfactant commonly used in household and personal care products. It belongs to the class of amine oxides and is derived from natural sources like coconut oil or palm kernel oil. Ours is derived from palm oil.

Why do we use Lauramine Oxide?

We use lauramine oxide as a surfactant to help improve the effectiveness of our cleaning products. It contributes to the foaming and lathering properties of our shampoo and bubble bath.

Is Lauramine Oxide safe to use? Is it nontoxic?

Lauramine oxide is generally regarded as a mild irritant. While it is considered safe for use inhousehold and personal care products when used as directed, some individuals with sensitive skin may experience irritation or allergic reactions.
