What is Potassium Sorbate?

Potassium Sorbate is a chemical compound, a fusion of sorbic acid and potassium hydroxide. It is primarily used as a preservative to extend the shelf life of various products by inhibiting the growth of mold, yeast, and some bacteria.

Why do we use Potassium Sorbate In our products?

Rustic Strength uses Potassium Sorbate in our products because it is a food-grade preservative that prevents the growth of mold and bacteria. It ensures our products remain safe, fresh, and effective for longer periods of time.

Is it safe? Is it non-toxic?

Like most things Potassium Sorbate is safe and non-toxic for use as long as it is used within recommended concentrations. Regulatory bodies, including the FDA and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), approve its use within recommended concentrations.
