No detectable 1,4-dioxane, the cancer-linked byproduct that can form when common surfactants are made.

Why we test

1,4-dioxane is a manufacturing byproduct, not an ingredient, so it never appears on a label even when it is present. in 2024 the epa determined it poses an unreasonable risk to human health, with concerns that include cancer, liver damage, and harm to the tissue involved in smell. it forms while the surfactants in many soaps and detergents are made, so a label cannot tell you whether it is there. a lab test can, so we run one.

Works great, no etching!

I like the scent but the scrubbing power leaves much to be desired. I used the recommended amount and half of my dishes were still dirty. It only works when I fill the reservoir and top it with baking soda.

It Works!

I was excited, but not hopeful to try the Rustic Strength products. We had tried several other "non toxic" brands in the past. This was different. The glasses were spotless, the plates clean, and zero residue. No vinegar rinse needed. We are loving the scent too.
